We have had so many beautiful moments and memories recently that I still want to collect and write about so that we can revisit together.

Christmas was really stressful at times but it was beautiful seeing you happy and excited to see all of your presents and to slowly discover them. I loved seeing the joy on your face.

New Years was fun, too! You stayed up all the way until midnight (and then promptly fell asleep). I had trouble sleeping that night and around 2-3 am, you woke and looked me in the face and said:

“Daddy, just close your eyes… and take a nice nap.”

It was so sweet. You always try to help others. You are so encouraging and nice and concerned with people’s well being. I could not be any more proud of you than I am, every single day.

You’ll start school soon and you’ve been warming up so well. I know its hard for you sometimes, because it was hard for me, too. But you are more brave and stronger than I am.

You will always do well. You will always exceed my dreams for you.

I hope to see and hug you soon, my little troublemaker.
