And I know that you already have one… But I got it, anyway! Would you like to play on it with me?
I think the best way to learn or become interested in things is to always play when you learn. If you practice, and do something over and over, you can only get better!
Maybe you won’t like to make music when you’re older. That would be okay with me! But I want to give you the space and opportunity to learn.

Here is a picture of you playing with one of your first instruments! But you liked many, many more: maracas, tambourines, the ukulele, the guitar… and we can’t forget, the microphone!
I know, I know… you were just practicing. Its okay to be proud of what you can do. Even if you are still learning!
You will see that creativity is very important to me. I know you don’t know what that word means, yet. Its a big one. But “creativity” is a feeling everyone gets sometimes.
It just means you want to make things.
Which sounds silly! But its not!
Making anything is creative. And its like a muscle in your mind that you need to stretch and use and nurture.
You can be creative if you…
draw a picture
sing a song (or make up a new song!)
writing a story
play up your toys or
if you play pretend!
(and many, many more!)
Actually, “playing pretend” is one of the best ways to be creative. We can use our imagination. One of the most important, beautiful, and amazing ways our minds work.
I’d love to be creative with you. Would you like to play pretend with me? We can pretend we are expert piano players! Who knows, if we play and learn… maybe one day we can be!
You first started making music very early. It was around the time where you first were learning how to say words. It went by so fast! Before anyone knew it, you were talking non-stop! And we all loved it. It was amazing to see you be a smart, creative, and imaginative girl.
Love you a lot and that will never stop… ˚. ✦.˳·˖✶ ⋆.✧˚.
